DUAL NVIDIA CARDS

I know that nVidia doesn't have drivers to enable SLi in Vista so I have a
question. I have a new system that I just took out of the box. It has dual
video cards. Does it matter which one I plug my monitor in to? I hope I
don't sound too dumb but this is my first foray into this area.

Re: DUAL NVIDIA CARDS

You couldn't try each one to see which one works?

RE: DUAL NVIDIA CARDS

You can use either one, but be aware that you may have to specify in BIOS
which one you are going to use.

Re: DUAL NVIDIA CARDS

Well, I would just as soon know right away instead of being faced with a
blank screen on ititial boot up.

Re: DUAL NVIDIA CARDS

If the screen is blank when you boot, connect your monitor to the other
card!

RE: DUAL NVIDIA CARDS

I have a SLI set up and must use the top card or it will not work.

Looking at the back of the PC - Plug the cable into the left most connection
of the top card.
