Re: Sapphire ATI X1950XT problem

How did you manage to identify the graphics card as the offending hardware?

Re: Sapphire ATI X1950XT problem

because it always crash when the system is going to full screen in 3D.
if i run any game in window (UT2004) , it works smoothly, but when it turns
to full screen it crash and restart.

Re: Sapphire ATI X1950XT problem

I have this card and it works fine in my Vista install.

Check that you have the power cable attached to your card and check it's
temperature.

Re: Sapphire ATI X1950XT problem

It seems there is a problem with the x1950xt...... It's not supported by
windows Vista. I found this posted on the ATI/AMD site in the new features
part of the new 7.2 catalyst drivers out today. Theres a nice traffic light
sign that say CAUTION X1950XT cards are not yet supported by windows VISTA.
Seems they want to keep this quiet

Regards

Dody
