| | Re: Sapphire ATI X1950XT problem It seems there is a problem with the x1950xt...... It's not supported by windows Vista. I found this posted on the ATI/AMD site in the new features part of the new 7.2 catalyst drivers out today. Theres a nice traffic light sign that say CAUTION X1950XT cards are not yet supported by windows VISTA. Seems they want to keep this quiet Regards Dody "kAmMa" wrote: > every hardware failure is out of the question, because if i boot win xp, it > works absolutely witn no problem... > i have the newest ATI Catalyst Driver 7.1 > > > "Jeppe" <Jeppe@jee.com> wrote in message > news:%QLBh.15648$5Q5.4160@reader1.news.saunalahti.fi... > >I have this card and it works fine in my Vista install. > > > > Check that you have the power cable attached to your card and check it's > > temperature. > > > > .Vesh > > > > kAmMa wrote: > >> because it always crash when the system is going to full screen in 3D. > >> if i run any game in window (UT2004) , it works smoothly, but when it > >> turns to full screen it crash and restart. > >> > >> > >> "Cari (MS-MVP)" <NewsGroups@coribright.com> wrote in message > >> news:uRRJe7kUHHA.2212@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > >>> How did you manage to identify the graphics card as the offending > >>> hardware? > >>> -- > >>> Cari (MS-MVP) > >>> Windows Technologies - Printing & Imaging > >>> http://www.coribright.com/windows > >>> > >>> "kAmMa" <kamma@seznam.cz> wrote in message > >>> news:94D32105-CD36-4C52-8654-137DDD130EF6@microsoft.com... > >>>> hi all, > >>>> > >>>> i have this card and when i run any game, my system crash and restart > >>>> itself. > >>>> my drivers are the newest and everything is installed correctly (no > >>>> hardware conflict). > >>>> in xp it works absolutely smoothly. > >>>> > >>>> thx for reply > >>>> kAmMa > >>> > >> > |
