Problems with screen resolution after login

Hi,

I installed Vista Beta 2 yesterday but keep having problems with the screen
resolution on startup. The settings i have when i shut down Vista doesn't
seem to stick.

When im at the loginprompt I have a screen resolution of 1280*720 (which is
what i want) but after a sucessfull login the resolution changes to 1280*1024
with a refresh rate of 85 hz. That would have been nice, as long as both my
displays could handle that resolution.

My computer is an HTPC connected to a 26" LCD-TV (native resolution of
1280*768) and a front projector (native resolution of 1280*720) and the
problem is that my LCD-TV cand handle the increased resolution after login.

Ive tried to install the ATI-drivers with the Catalyst control center but
that hasn't solved the login/startup problem.

Has anyone seen these problems previosly? Is there a magic setting to find
somewhere deep down in Vista that could solve this problem?

Best regards
/Martin Roth
