I have a cingular 8525 and just started using Vista and Mobile Device
Center... when I browse the device from the Sync Center to the Pictures
folder and try to copy and paste a file to a folder on the local machine the
copy operation hangs... just sits there and doesn't respond. The only way to
stop is to unplug the device.

Any ideas how to fix this?

I am seeing the exact same problem. I can browse folders on the
phone, seeing file and directory names, but if I try to copy a file
from the phone to the Vista desktop, the copy operation hangs. If I
click on the cancel button, the cancellation operation hangs as well.
If I unplug the USB cable to the phone, it kicks the copy operation
out of its hung state.

Thank goodness, I am not alone. I am having the exact same problem in
addition to the fact that sometimes (40-60%of the time)--when I plug in my
device with the USB cable--it never connects to the computer.

Someone from MS needs to read this and help us out. I am getting really
frustrated with this. I don't know about you guys.
