When I go under C: and click properties, it tells me I only have 74GB of Hard
Drive Space; but I have a 80 GB Hard Drive. Why is that?

It is almost always a little lower actual space when you format a hard drive.
I have an 80 gig also, and I am getting...76 otu of it as well. I don't know
why it happens, but its a totally normal occurance.
