| | Ite it8211 ATA ATAPI drivers. during windows setup where I am supposed to select a partition to install windows on, I get nothing. Like in win XP i have to install a 3rd party device driver for the HDD's to show up. However, when I insert the created device driver disk windows does not detect any driver and cannot see my partitions. I am Installing from computer boot (thus, clean install) and have created a driver disk from ITE's latest drivers. I have also attempted to use USB flash to no avail. My MoBo is an ASUS P5GD1-VM. Has there been a fix/driver update for this controller yet? (on a side note, windows upgrade advisor detected my ATAPI driver and stated i did not have to change anything). Thanks for any help! |
