If anyone else does I would be greatful thank you -- jaxmwana ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jaxmwana's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/97779.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/vista-har...ces/703446.htm http://forums.techarena.in |

| | Re: Windows Vista - Motorola HT 820 Bluetooth Headset wonīt function properly I don't think the problem is about HT 820 Bluetooth but any brand of headset. I never thought after 2 days of searching on various threads that i could actually found the solution. I tried various "worked" solutions and it didn't work for me. Finally, I search and found out there is something called Bluetooth driver for Vista. I downloaded it and it worked. The only thing is, you may have to pay for it. The reason why you may depends on which version you get. http://www.bluesoleil.com/download/ Bluesoleil v.5 is free (because it didn't require serial #), Bluesoleil 6 does and it costs like 20 euros. Since I'm using Bluesoleil 6 (Due to a product called Bluesoleil VOIP required v.6), I'll show you how I did it. 1. download Bluesoleil 6 2. extract and find the file "setup" 3. double click setup file and you are on cruise control 4. for v.6, they will ask you for serial #, so if you want to use v.6, pay up, otherwise, try v.5 When I plug in the BT adaptor, it ask to search for driver and it was successfully identify the driver and "happy ever after" I use a regular BT headset for mobile phone to pair it with my computer so I can use Skype, I broke 2 corded headset so it was something I really want. DISCLAIMER: I DON'T WORK OR KNOW ANYONE AT BLUESOLEIL. My suggestion with this Vista/BT driver problem is to dump Vista and go Window 7... I hate Vista and yes, I dumped all my Microsoft stocks long ago. -- MGL ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MGL's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/98356.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/vista-har...ces/703446.htm http://forums.techarena.in |

| | Re: Windows Vista - Motorola HT 820 Bluetooth Headset won?t function properly To: jaxmwana You can't just click on the the URL Prometheus provided. Go to the MSI site, go to Technical Support, Latest Driver Downloads, on the right, under the Type 2 method of searching for drivers in the drop down, select Communication, Bluetooth, Data Transmission, STAR KEY, click on Driver when the product description comes up, scroll down the screen to download the Vista driver 32 or 64. url:http://www.ureader.com/msg/16895488.aspx |

| | Re: Windows Vista - Motorola HT 820 Bluetooth Headset wonīt function properly Put all in the rubbish; Vista drivers, Windows Drivers, Motorola Drivers, Blue Soleil paying soft, etc. Toshiba "Bluetooth Stack" works perfect with Motorola HT820 Headset even in not toshiba notebooks. As I could see on some forums. Motorola is great, I am very happy, And I very much apreciate Toshiba great soft and laptops. I like good free software. And testing it couldnīt be worse than what we were doing. My laptop is a Philips Freevents (yes, it almost doesnīt exist) And Motorola HT820 works fine and easy with TOSHIBA DRIVERS. Iīm using Windows Vista 32 bits home I could not get to activate the microphone for using it with Skype, but as headset it is OK. Go Get drivers at Toshiba Website v64000T_20090324_x32.exe (bluetooth stack) BtSw_v5v6_FP1.exe (patch) Thanks to this great forum Para los que aun no se dieron cuenta de que soy espaņol, solo quiero decir que los auriculares Motorola HT820 funcionan perfectamente en Vista con este gestor de bluetooth aunque tu ordenador no sea Toshiba. -- suricata ------------------------------------------------------------------------ suricata's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/107938.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/vista-har...ces/703446.htm http://forums.techarena.in |

| | Re: Windows Vista - Motorola HT 820 Bluetooth Headset wonīt function properly I have a Dell XPS sudio laptop and all I had to do was set my headphones (in the sounds area under control panel) to the "Default". So if the headphones are on they get the sound, if they are off, then the speakers get the sounds. I didn't need to do anything else. -- kahuna84093 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ kahuna84093's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/153711.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/vista-har...ces/703446.htm http://forums.techarena.in |
