Vista - Tascam 1082 Firewire Audio Interface

I cant get this device installed in Vista with XP drivers is there a way to
get this device installed?

I am using Presonus Inspire 1394 audio Interface, and having the same
problem. For my case, it is driver incompatibility. Yet to find out a
solution.

1. It is the responsibility of the manufacturer of the hardware to develop
software products (drivers) that are compatible with Microsoft's operating
systems and then to provide Microsoft with these drivers so that they can be
included in the driver library of the operating system. This proceedure has
not changed since Windows was begat. Microsoft does not write hardware
specific drivers. Contact the manufacturer of the particular piece of
hardware in question and ask them why they refuse to support you, their
valued, paying customer.
