Vista - Refresh Rate

I have a CRT Monitor and ATI X1900XTX graphics card. I have the correct
drivers and my monitor is listed correctly. In XP you could force the
refresh rate for 3d app's, through both dxdiag and in the ati drivers, but
you don't seem to be able to do this in Vista. Anyone got any
recommendations of good tool to use for forcing refresh rates in Vista ?.

Same problem as what? You have replied to an old message but not quoted any
of it so your post has no context. Many people use a newsreader to access
what is actually a Usenet newsgroup, not a chat forum, and only download the
most recent messages so the other messages in a thread might not be visible.
That's why it's standard protocol to quote at least a portion of the message
to which you reply, and create a new thread for your issue rather than
tacking on to an old one, and supply some relevant details. Good luck.
