Vista - bluetooth headset working good but microphone isn't

I have bluetooth headset of NIKKAI model # BES005 from
maplin electronics. I have successfully paired it with my laptop and I can
hear sounds but there is problem with its mic. Though it is properly
installed and showing message that bluetooth microphone is working. But
infect it is not working. I have checked this bluetooth headset with
Windows Xp on my other laptop and it works fine, I have successfully used it
on skype. So this seems that bluetooth
headset and mic is fine but mic is not working in Vista. Can any body help me
on this, please reply as quick as possible because otherwise i ve to return
this.

Is the bluetooth Mic selected in Recording Devices in the Sound
control?

Yeah it is selected in control pannel in recording device. It is showing
two mics one is of laptop that is built in and the second one bluetooh
headsets mic. and I have also make sured that it is not muted. its status is
showing installed properly and working but not getting input.
