| | notebook western digital hard drive clicking om my new notebook running vista premium the hard drive sometimes clicks, there is meant to be an issue with cerain WD drives clicking and a patch to run to sort the firmware, hoever it runs from floppy not cd rom. this is meant to be an issue with the drive getting a power management signal to park and reading the signal incorrctly. any ideas.... tried messaging wd but no reply as of yet |
