Vista - Xbox 360 controller for windows deadzone

Has anyone been able to get a 'work around' for the lack of deadzone support
for the 360 controller under Vista?
Any help would be awesome

Depends on the game, some games have a setting, some games have it buried in
a config file somewhere.

I was thinking more of a driver level option - or 3rd party software to
handle the input device in general, not application specific
Any ideas?
