Automatically start a program at startup problem

I am running Vista Home Premium. I have placed a shortcut to Outlook in the
startup folder but Outlook does not automatically start when the computer is
booted. Please help.

If you go to Start->Programs->Startup and click the Outlook icon, does it
start then?

Re: Automatically start a program at startup problem

Yes Outlook runs normally otherwise. It seems any program put in the
startup folder will not start automatically on boot up.

Re: Automatically start a program at startup problem

If you placed the shortcut in your personal user account startup, try
placing in the all users startup instead.
