    Hard Drives

I have two WD IDE HD's on my system, whenever Vista boots up, it does not
show the slave drive in the primary chain. I have to go device manager and
enable the drive and load the drivers...

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Am I the only one lucky enough to see this error?

    Help please!

Bios shows the same as always: Master and Slave HD's and Master and Slave
    DVD's.

I can see the drive in Device Manager. In fact, every time I reboot, the
system says that it has the load drivers for the Hard Drive... It loads the
Master drive up, but not the slave...

    Re: Hard Drives

Bios shows both drives. When I reboot, Vista reports that it has the load
drivers for the Master HD but nothing for the slave HD. They are both WD,
    the master is a 200GB, (WD2000JB) the slave is a 100GB (WD1000BB)...

    Re: Hard Drives

Weel, I see a lot of posts aboutthe secondary HD's not loading for Vista, but
    no-one has any solutions yet.

Is this a known issue with the Beta 2? If so, I'll need to back up to XP,
'cuz there's stuff on that drive I need...

C'mon! Someone let us know what's going on here please!
