| | What could I do with my Linksys wireless adapter?? My router is in my brother's room, and I'm using "Linksys Wireless-G Notebook Adapter with Speedbooster", Model WPC54GS V21. for my PC's internet connection. However, after I install my vista 64bit, the Setup program does not work, it can not be installed. I went to Linksys official website, and it says that the 64bit driver for this adapter is TBD, I guess it means To Be Developed? But what should I do for now? Any way I can make some change of the 32bit driver, and make it work for my 64bit OS? |

| | Re: What could I do with my Linksys wireless adapter?? You can not change a 32 bit driver to make it work with a 64 bit operating system. If you can't line up all the 64 bit drivers you need you are better off running Vista 32 bit until the drivers are forth coming. -- Regards, Richard Urban MVP Microsoft Windows Shell/User "tmitim" <tmitim.2ok3xg@no-mx.forums.net> wrote in message news:tmitim.2ok3xg@no-mx.forums.net... > > My router is in my brother's room, and I'm using "Linksys Wireless-G > Notebook Adapter with Speedbooster", Model WPC54GS V21. for my PC's > internet connection. | | Re: What could I do with my Linksys wireless adapter?? If you are using a 64-bit operating system you need 64-bit drivers. There's no way to make 32-bit drivers work instead. You'll either have to wait for 64-bit drivers to be released or use a device that already has 64-bit drivers available. -- Richard G. Harper [MVP Shell/User] rgharper@gmail.com * NEW!
