I could dedect when faulty the resolution of the second screen had a resolution 600/800 while it should have a lower one 640/480 But when not ok resoltion 600/800 is the only which i can take. When ok i have all possible solution and when taking 640/680 it is working fine. Somebody any advice? Regards Huib |

In the case of the nVidia card, you may need to go beyond the HP site and check the nVidia website directly. -- Michael Solomon |

| | Re: S-video? Most TVs are only expecting 480i S-video which is the NTSC standard. The grsphics cards normally create a 480i image of your desktop using a scan converter chip. However, only a few scan converter chips can handle a PC desktop resolution over 800x600 and they are limited to 1024x768 "Huib" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:OmWOY8GeHHA.1240@TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... > Hi, > > I am using a S-viedo cable to connect Vista PC to the TV > Sometimes it is working fine but mostly not. > I could dedect when faulty the resolution of the second screen had a > resolution 600/800 > while it should have a lower one 640/480 > > But when not ok resoltion 600/800 is the only which i can take. > > When ok i have all possible solution and when taking 640/680 it is working > fine. > > Somebody any advice? > > Regards > > Huib > > |
