Device Driver may be corrupted

It appears that I've lost both of my DVDRW after installing VISTA 64-bit. I
was using them up until a few days ago. It just shows as a "Removable Disk".

This is the error message I get when I go to the DVDRW burner.

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be
corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and
to see if there is a solution available.

Any suggestion on this.

Regards,

Re: Device Driver may be corrupted

There is a procedure to fix that on the Microsoft vista site, knowledge
base. It consist of removing the higher and lower filter... It worked with
me.

I believe this applies in Vista RTM as well.

CD-ROM drive or DVD-ROM drive appears to be missing after you install
Windows XP or Windows Vista Beta 2
