| | Monitor or Monitor Driver? I am clueless about these things. Here goes. I left the computer on overnight, and it was showing the log on screen. This morning, the computer was on but the monitor would show nothing. I pressed on the keyboard and moved the mouse, but the log on screen stayed black, save for the browser pointer. Any ideas why? |

| | Re: Monitor or Monitor Driver? The computer went to sleep, and like my motherboard yours can not awake the computer. It is likely due to an older implementation of the ACPI specs used by the M/B. Turn off the power and repower the computer. Disable the sleep properties in your power configuration. -- Regards, Richard Urban MVP Microsoft Windows Shell/User "flatlander" <flatlander@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:5D3E4929-C45B-48F4-8D9D-C55849ADA66C@microsoft.com... >I am clueless about these things. | | Re: Monitor or Monitor Driver? Thanks, Richard. Can you point me to the place where I disable the sleep properties? I am not familiar with it.
