Sound issues with left channel

I have a sound problem with the left channel. The left front speaker is very
low, all the other speaker are at the proper volume. Problem is the same with
the on board audio or my Audigy 2 ZS card installed.

EVGA 680 sli 122-CK-NF68-A1, Intel Core 2 Duo E6600, OCZ @GB DDR2 1066, EVGA
GeForce 8800GTX, logitech Z-5300 5.1 speaker system.

I have removed and reloaded drivers and software, no effect. I have checked
all the speakers and connections to make sure they all work, and they do.

Anyone have any suggestions.

Thanks

Re: Sound issues with left channel

Since you have the same problem with both the on board audio controller
and the add-in Audigy, it would seem to be the speaker amplifier.
Try reversing the right and left channel speaker connections, and if the
problem is on the right channel, then you can be sure the problem is
with the speaker amplifier.

Checked for a frayed cord?

Re: Sound issues with left channel

You were correct, the amp was bad. I setup the speakers on the monitor and
both channel work. Thanks
