| | No mouse and keyboard after sleep All. I've just installed Vista Ultimate and everything is up and running with no problems. I have the latest drivers for the motherboard and graphics card but when I resume from sleep mode I am left with no mouse or keyboard. The only way I can get it working again is to hold the power button in or reset the PC. MSI K9N Neo Sapphire 1300XT (512Mb) Athlon 64 X2 5200+ 2Gb Corsair DDR2 6400 Does anyone know if there are any fixes for this or if there is any config I can do to resolve it. I really want to use the sleep mode but it's obviously no good if I'm left with no mouse or keyboard. regards, Neil |

| | RE: No mouse and keyboard after sleep Hi, This issue might be related to the USB root hub settings. Click Start and type devmgmt.msc in the Search Box and press Enter to start Device Manager. Expand Universal series bus controller category and double-click one USB root hub below. Click power management tab and make sure that the checkbox of Allow turn off the device to save power is cleared. Check the settings for all the USB root hubs. then check if the issue persists. Hope this will help. Have a nice day. "Neil Harley" wrote: > All. I've just installed Vista Ultimate and everything is up and running with > no problems. Thanks for your reply and welcome to my late reply ![]() I forgot to add that both the mouse and keyboard are PS2. I have been looking through the settings in Vista and the BIOS but nothing I change makes any effect. |
