connecting a second monitor

Hello, I just upgraded from windows XP to Vista Ultimate. I am having a very
hard time connecting a second monitor/TV to work together, "mirror" When I
connect my TV, using a video component cable, it does recognize it, but I can
only use one or the other. I need help to "mirror" them both.
Thanks

In your display properties you should see a primary monitor and another
one... click on the other one and check "Extend my display to this
monitor" and see what happens.

There are a lot of driver issues if this isn't available or doesn't fix
it and to deal with those you need to check the manufacturer's websites
for all the devices concerned for updated drivers.

If you need more info or help please include video card model, monitor
and TV models - it may help someone to help you.
