dell latitude d610

i have here dell latitude d610, seems like all devices were detected and are
functioning correctly except the sound.

any solution please?

Did you manually go into device manager, do an Update driver and let it
search the internet? Lots of drivers to be found that way

Thanks Tom. I did it already, and it doesn't find any driver for my sound
device.

I had the same problem with my D610. Solution:
go to dell.com, click Notebooks -> Support, put Latitude D610 in drop-off
menu, and go to dowload drivers for XP. Download audio driver file and run
self-extracting exe. Then run extracted installation program. It's one of a
few Dell driver installation program running under Vista. On my D610 it did
the job.

Yea. I have the same proplem! This sucks! And for some reason I plug in Headphones or Plug and play speakers and it don't connect! PLEASE HELP! Hey Can you please send me those links!
