| | USB Sound, sleep/resume Hi, I'm running Vista Ultimate and have an external USB sound card attached (Creative X-Mod). Following resume from Sleep (S3), no sound output is playedfrom any sources (Media Player etc.). The device is still present in the Device Manager, but no sound is coming from my speakers. The solution is to un- and replug the sound device; however, this is rather inconvenient... I've got all updates (and a few hotfixes) installed, including KB929734. Also, my MB bios is the latest available. The X-Mod is installed as a natively supported USB sound device, so this is not a Creative-driver issue. It has to be related to the Vista soundstack or to the USB stack Any suggestions? Thanks! |
