| | Strange mouse issue I'm using a Logitech MX1000 laser mouse with the 64 bit version of the setpoint software. My problem is that spontaneously, the cursor jumps all or almost all the way to either the top or far left of my screen. It'll work fine for a few minutes, and then pop, it teleports way over to the left or up. It's ALWAYS either left or up. This happens in all programs, so games too (which is really annoying). Anyone else have the same problem? Failing at that, anyone have any suggestions? Help is much appreciated. (I'm using Vista home premium x64) |

| | Re: Strange mouse issue Same mouse - same problem. Use caned air to blow clean the lens area on the bottom of the mouse. All better now. -- Regards, Richard Urban Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User (For email, remove the obvious from my address) Quote from George Ankner: If you knew as much as you think you know, You would realize that you don't know what you thought you knew! | | Re: Strange mouse issue Nice name...same mouse same problem...tried what Richard suggested and still does it....Irritating to say the least but I love this mouse so hopefully they will fix it in a future driver "ChefOfDeath" <ChefOfDeath.2polk3@no-mx.forums.net> wrote in message news:ChefOfDeath.2polk3@no-mx.forums.net... > > I'm using a Logitech MX1000 laser mouse with the 64 bit version of the > setpoint software. | | I know for a fact that that isn't the problem, I'm dual-booting Vista with XP and I don't have that problem in XP. Gotta be a driver issue, but I was hoping someone knew of a remedy for it. Guess I need to go screw around with mouse stuff in vista some more. |
