Vista Tutorial - IrDa adapter only works in Vista ultimate not in the business version

Hello,

I use Windows Vista Business und Ultimate on two computers. (both 64 bit).
Now I bought a new Polar Irda USB 2.0 adapter.
Installing this device on Vista Ultimate is no problem . The correct drivers
are installed without any problem. But when I try to install it on the
business version i won´t work. Vista doesn´t find the correct driver!
I tried to copy the driver from the Ultimate to the Business Version! But no
chance!

The device Manager shows up two drivers installed:
irenum.sys
stusb2ir.sys
The Chipset ist a Sigmatel STIr42xx!

What can I do, that my business Version of Windows finds the correct driver?

Hi,

I also bought the new Polar IrDA adapter, and ALSO on my Vista Business
machine, I cant get it to work. I have spoken to Polar, and they also cannot
help me with this problem. In essence, me and jhwaxx have exactly the same
problem.

Can someone please help with this?
