| | Booting with error Hi, I am using Ultimate, for the last few days, I have this booting problem. That the ntkrnlpa.exe is missing or corrupted while I am booting up the PC. And with this state: 0xc0000221. And also I've notice that this will only occur when the PC is shutted down for a long period of time e.g. more then 1.5 hours. Is there any update or am I hitted by spyware, virus..... I've TrendMicro PC-Cillin Internet Security 2007 (capable with Vista). My spec of the PC: Intel E6600 ASUS P5N32-E SLi Inno3D GeForce 7900GS Deskstar 250GB 1 GB RAM Millions of THANKS!!! |

| | Re: Booting with error You may want to check your disk for errors (open Computer, right-click your hard drive, choose Properties, and, on the Tools tab, click "Check Now...". Then check "Automatically fix file system errors" when the dialog pops up. Click Start. Click "Schedule disk check". Reboot. Also try the System File Checker, by right-clicking on Command Prompt, and choosing Run as Administrator. At the prompt, type: sfc /scannow Press enter on your keyboard. | | I found out that it was the RAM problem. Because that the ntkrnlpa.exe is a PAE thing. So I unplug one of the RAM and reinstall the Vista. And no problem at all (so far so good). But thanks anyway. Last edited by h24821807; 05-13-2007 at 06:52 AM.. |
