strange happenings with Sound

Well I have been one of the ppl stuggling to get the sound working on Vista
64bit when using a Audigy 2 value card.

I have now got it working...

Had to use the XP 64 drivers and load them twice. but once I did that I
could not enable my sound. Device manager said all was ok and the drivers
were working. But I kept on gettting a red x next to the speaker icon,
untill I plugged my GE USB web cam in.

As soon as I did that the sound started working. It has an intergrated
micorphone in it ,, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it at
all.,

Once I have the sound working I can unplug the web cam (which I can't get
drivers for yet) and the sound works well untill I reboot. then I loose the
sound again if the cam was not plugged in at boot. I plug the web cam back
in and the sound comes back.

If I leave the web cam plugged in I get sound as soon as I re-boot.....

Weird,,,, I am going to leave the cam pluged in as it is ssooooo nice to
have sound again...
