| | Re: AHCI-SATA-IDE Hi. I have changed now from Ide to AHCI on my 6 hardisks using Intel Matrix Controler. I have the 2 GSATA ports left over on my Gigabyte MB and tryed to install 2 HD more but that did not work. I had already installed the latest Jmicron driver in Vista but that was not enough. The system bios does not even see the drives, only my cd drives is found. When i change the GSATA setting from IDE mode to AHCI mode than also the ports for my cd drives are changed but Vista only sees the cd drives when it starts up, after it instales the drivers and ask for restart the cd drives are gone. I got a Hotfix from Microsoft what was suppose to fix this but it was still the same. Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks.
