WDDM and LDDM drivers not working.

I have a Radeon 9600 Series AGP video card. Off from a fresh install off the
DVD Vista loads up MS WDDM drivers. When i go into hardware profile it tells
me that the device could not start and gives me a Code 37 error. When i load
ATI's drivers LDDM for Vista, i get a Code 43 saying that the drivers could
not start. If i load up Win XP drivers the card works fine but that dosent
make sense. I currently have it on a dual boot system with each operation
system (Vista and XP) on their own physical drives. I have a Intel P4 2.4 GHz
w/ a !G DDR ram. My R9600 has 128MB Video Memory. I have enough space on my
hard drive as it is a WD 160G 7200RPM drive. Any suggestions to getting
either the WDDM or LDDM drivers to work? I could use the XP drivers but then
i wont get the AERO theme which needs the WDDM or LDDM drivers. Thanks in
advance.

* Driver and Software Survey: This is your opportunity to provide us

ATI is one of the first graphic providers to make a 64-bit driver that
supports the Longhorn Display Driver Model (LDDM) – the Microsoft Vista

more than a full year prior to Windows Vista release, ATI provides developers
with a stable, feature-enabled and performance-optimized platform for
application development. ATI is also the first to provide Catalyst® Windows
Vista driver feedback via our Catalyst® Crew Feedback program.
