Documents and settings access?

When I try to access Documents and Settings folder in windows explorer it
pops up a warning that states that access is denied.
It also won't allow me to change permissions.

What can I do to access this folder in Explorer?

TIA

Amir

Unless Documents and Settings in part of an XP installation, that folder
is a "junction". It's for compatibility, and is not accessible.

In Vista, instead use c:\users\<your account>\...

Windows Vista™ Ultimate

The documents and settings folder can still be found on the drive vista is installed on even even after a fresh install, vista uses a hardlink to redirect older programs to C:\users\ as Amir has said.
