| | Documents and settings access? When I try to access Documents and Settings folder in windows explorer it pops up a warning that states that access is denied. It also won't allow me to change permissions. What can I do to access this folder in Explorer? TIA Amir |

Unless Documents and Settings in part of an XP installation, that folder is a "junction". It's for compatibility, and is not accessible. In Vista, instead use c:\users\<your account>\... |

| Windows Vista™ Ultimate | The documents and settings folder can still be found on the drive vista is installed on even even after a fresh install, vista uses a hardlink to redirect older programs to C:\users\ as Amir has said. |
