Vista - Printing with Vista/IE 7 to HP photosmart 7350

I have downloaded the generic driver from HP and can print everything except
items from web pages.
I have to copy into Word and print from there (which works fine but is a
pain).
I can also copy to PDF files and print OK from there.

I have no specific knowledge to help explain why you can't print web pages
directly. Do you get an error message? I did a web search looking for some
possibilities on what could cause such a situation, so take a look at these
to see whether there is something there that you can use:

I've had no issues printing web pages, but then I don't have your printer.
If you can't find any solution here, perhaps HP has some idea, as it's their
driver and could be they have heard this before. It seems to me that you
should be able to print web pages because you can print other items.

Thanks freddy,
Will look at your suggestions.
I get no error messages, the printer just doesn't respond, altho it works
for everything else.
If I get no further suggestions will try HP.
