| | Installing Roxio Easy Creator I am having trouble installing this program. this came with the new computer and it is not a program that I am trying to add! this is the error msg that I am getting. The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Also it keeps trying to reinstall constantly! Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Carolyn |

| | RE: Installing Roxio Easy Creator Carolyn, I don't fully understand your post, but I'll make some comments anyway on the basis that they may provide some acceptable outcome for you. If the Roxio program came with your computer, it seems to me it's likely installed. What I don't understand is your comment that you're not trying to install it. So, here is my contribution: If the program is installed, and you don't seem to want it, uninstall it and the error message should go away. You should be able to uninstall it in Control Panel Add/Remove Programs. If the program in fact is not installed, then I don't understand how that error message has anything to do with Roxio. My final comment is that if you can't resolve this issue by yourself, contact the vendor of you computer to check whether it has a solution. -- freddy "Carolyn" wrote: > I am having trouble installing this program. this came with the new computer > and it is not a program that I am trying to add! > > this is the error msg that I am getting. > > The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is > unavailable. > Also it keeps trying to reinstall constantly! > > Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. > > Carolyn |

| | Re: Installing Roxio Easy Creator It's looking for the Roxio installation disk, which at the time of the original installation, was on a networked PC. If you don't want Roxio, uninstall it. If you do want Roxio, find the CD that came with your PC and reinstall it using the CD or DVD drive in your PC. -- Cari (MS-MVP) Windows Technologies - Printing & Imaging http://www.coribright.com/windows "Carolyn" <Carolyn@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:A642412D-EB7D-4ED7-B321-ABA454C28FAD@microsoft.com... >I am having trouble installing this program. this came with the new >computer > and it is not a program that I am trying to add! > > this is the error msg that I am getting. > > The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is > unavailable. > Also it keeps trying to reinstall constantly! > > Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. > > Carolyn |
