My new Windows Vista Dell machine is not recognizing the shuffle when I plug
it in the front USB ports. It does come up when I plug it into one of the
back USB ports. I checked the front ports and they work with other devices.
Spent an hour with Dell tech support and they think it is a compatbility
issue with Vista and/or iTunes. Has anyone experienced a similar problem?
Any ideas on what I should do?

Just something to try as a shot in the dark: Download and install all the
updates available on the Microsoft update site, if you haven't already done
so. These can sometimes correct unusual and strange behavior. Otherwise, I
know which port I'd use. lol
