| | Windows media player hello. I need help on microsoft windows vista business edition. I go to listen to some music on media player (version 11.0.6000.6324) it will play but EXTREMELY slowly. It wont even play at all actually. I cannot hear anything or play a movie. The only way I can play "media" at the moment is to play it with my documents and a box comes to let me play it. I have tried uninstalling it. I need to download the version (listed above), and re-install it. Please post the link for me and I will check it out later on. Thank you for your help. |

| | RE: Windows media player fa0921, Vista itself has a lot of information on troubleshooting problems in Media Player, as well as information on how to use Media Player, etc. Before you do anything drastic, Use Vista Help and Support (Start > Help and Support) to find answers. Launch Help and Support and Search on words having to do with Media Player, such as: Troubleshooting problems Media Player Configuring Media Player You get the idea. You can find Media Player for download on the Microsoft website. -- freddy "fa0921" wrote: > hello. | | RE: Windows media player Trying to upgrade, update, repair, reinstall Media Player in Vista is useless. No matter how much time you spend, and where you look, the only reply you get is: "Your computer is running, the most recent version of Windows Media PLayer and all of its components." There is no way I have found to uninstall this. Media Player does not even show up in my ADD/Remove... under the windows fatures tab. I have started using XP, that has no with Media Player, which appears to be a different media player even though they are both Media Player 11. Maybe this URGE p[rogram within the component, (which I did not install) has something to do with it. > > Vista itself has a lot of information on troubleshooting problems in Media > Player, as well as information on how to use Media Player, etc. > > Before you do anything drastic, Use Vista Help and Support (Start > Help and > Support) to find answers.
