| | Laptop Tosh Equium turns off wireless networking when booting My laptop insists on turning off wireless networking at start up even though the switch on the side of the laptop is in the on position. This is very annoying, does anyone know how to fix this as I always want windows to boot with wireless on. Many Thanks for any replies. |

| | Re: Laptop Tosh Equium turns off wireless networking when booting Hi Pete, Wireless networking, or any other device for that matter, cannot be "on" until the drivers for it are loaded. Plus, in this case, it's something that you absolutely do not want to have on until a firewall is in place. Again, this is software that needs to be initialized, not something that is just "there" when you power on. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "Pete" <Pete@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:1CFFFDF5-5B41-4C6C-9A99-2596F4AD0B5A@microsoft.com... > My laptop insists on turning off wireless networking at start up even > though > the switch on the side of the laptop is in the on position.
