Vista - LaCie drive: I installed LaCie-drive and now icon is missing

Hello and Good Day. I bought a new PC and installed a LaCie drive; Now the
LaCie ICON is MISSING. How can I get the icon back??
I followed the steps on the Lacie website (" To change the drive icon:
# Do “Get Info� (command i) on both the hard drive and the icon file.
# The icon for each will show in the upper left corner of the “Get Info�
window.) but that doesn't work. (Command i ???).
I think they wrote it for Windows XP.
Who can help me pls?

Hi

It could be that .ico file is either corrupt or missing. Normally all you
need is an icon file (.ico) situated at the root of the drive/cd/dvd to
enable a logo.

Thanks for your answer. Can you pls. explain to me how do I ' situated at
the root of the drive/cd/dvd to enable a logo'. I'm not so 'into computers'.

I also asked LaCie but unfortunately they cannot help me because they say
they don't know the way Vista handles this. Grrr.
