Vista - sound clicking but on cd

Alright it sound wierd but when im watching movies anime etc the voice has
sound but u can hear it clicking and when i load it on hard drive it work
normally i dont know what it is dvd writer or the sound

Sound problems are most often caused by driver issues. Have you downloaded
and installed the most recent Vista compatible drivers for you sound card?
To do that, you need to know the name of your sound device. You can learn
this in Device Manager by unfolding the Sound, video and game controllers
item and noting the name there.

i have xp it wierd it only happen with cd but when i put it on hard drive it

This is a Vista forum. Anyway, did you see the point about installing any
updates to the sound card drivers?

i know beside i tryed to unistall it placing new update driver but still
ended up same way

it just when im watching vcd or data disc or dvd when sound goes all that

pierro_a,

Your software DVD player should provide the audio codec (also called codex)
for producing sound. I don't know, perhaps you need to install a AC3 codec.
