| Guest | MS Natural Media Keyboard Button Issue I have remapped one of the buttons on my keyboard (the Messenger one) to start a program that I use daily during work. I have Vista 64 Ultimate and the latest MS keyboard software installed, btw, but every time I boot up or come out of sleep mode this button won't work unless I start the keyboard app and then close it. Then it will start the program until it goes into sleep mode or reboots. Quite annoying. The other buttons for Internet and Email work just fine with the alternates to MS's stuff that I use but not this custom configured one. Anyone have any ideas or is it up to Microsoft to resolve? Thanks for your help. Avatar Avatar |

| Guest | RE: MS Natural Media Keyboard Button Issue No.Thanks, I have no solution, but take a look at the following link for information on troubleshooting your issues. You might locate a solution, but no guarantee: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/ph/8506 -- freddy "No.Thanks@Here.com" wrote: > I have remapped one of the buttons on my keyboard (the Messenger one) > to start a program that I use daily during work. Seems to be some type of initialization issue with the software. Thanks for the reply though! Avatar |

| Guest | Re: MS Natural Media Keyboard Button Issue No.Thanks, I can offer only two other approaches. First, download and install all the updates available at the Microsoft update website, if you haven't already done so. You might get lucky and install a fix. Second, contact Microsoft Support directly, in accordance with the instructions and links contained on the previous troubleshooting guide I posted earlier. Anyone else? -- freddy "No.Thanks@Here.com" wrote: > On Sat, 7 Jul 2007 02:52:00 -0700, freddy <fkirschen@tidalwave.net> > wrote: > > >I have no solution, but take a look at the following link for information on > >troubleshooting your issues.
