| Guest | Re: Recover files Hi, See this link: http://www.aumha.org/a/recover.php and download Restoration. You'll need to right click the .exe file and use 'run as administrator' in order to properly search the drive. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "Glory" <Glory@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:010FD473-B1CC-4C7E-8E74-AEDDD1D95B87@microsoft.com... > How to recover the files that were emtied from recycle bin? > > -- > Glory |

| Guest | Re: Recover files Hi, Glory. In addition to what Bob and Rick said, don't let anything write anything to that hard drive! Or, at least, not to that partition. If it's your only drive, you may have no choice. But every time anything is written to it, there is the definite risk that it will write over the files that you would like to recover. Even the housekeeping that the computer does when booting up and shutting down involves disk writes, and you have no control over where data is written. The less that drive is used, the better your chances of recovery RC -- R. C.
