So much low running office 2003 EXCEL

I am running with my system VISTA Home Basic and Core Solo Processor Intel,
512MB DDR2, 80HDD (25% utilized).

I experiencing delimma / headache too much slow, delayed when i use Office
2003 Excel?

What will i do?

You have too little RAM for Vista let alone with Office/Excel as well
imo. Buy more RAM (try to take it up to 2GB).

be another problem.

I agree, Microsoft recommend 1GB of RAM for Windows Vista. 512MB is the
bare minimum.

Try adding more RAM and see how it goes. Make sure you get the correct
RAM and I'm sure your PC will run a lot better than it is now. If you
find that 2GB of RAM doesn't speed it up enough, try upgrading your
processor to around 2.5Ghz.

I'm running Ultimate on a K9 Neo with 2GB dual-channel RAM and an AM2
5200+ and I have no problems with performance of any application
including Office 2007.
