Re: Microsoft to Release SP-1 for Vista

I hope it's true. Just asked a friend of mine who is a MSFT MVP and he
answered "do you think they'd tell us that?" LOL

Re: Microsoft to Release SP-1 for Vista

Well I tested the betas for XP so I'll most likely give this a go if I am
able.

Re: Microsoft to Release SP-1 for Vista

A little misleading.
The Beta is rumored to be available later this month.
And since it is Beta, very few should consider installing it.
Typical users should not touch the Beta and most here should also keep
their distance until they are sure what they are doing.

Install a Beta only if you are prepared for total data loss and
willing to perform a Clean installation of the operating system to
resolve any issues.
While that is a remote possibility, it is more real with Beta
products.
This applies to Beta anything from any source, not just Microsoft.

The rumors I have heard have the release of SP-1 to coincide with the
release of Windows Server 2008 later this year or early next year.
