Vista - Mobile Intel 915GM/GMS, 910GML Express Chipset Family

Has anyone found WDDM drivers for this device?

Loading the Lakeport drivers does not work. Just boots to a black screen.

Intel's website says it Vista Ready, but it's isn't.

It 128 megs of dedicated video ram but not running glass.

I have the latitute d610 laptop with Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML
Express Chipset Family. I installed the Vista 2 but it does not show Aero
Glass theme.

Also font rendered are very blured.

Please post WDDM driver link if someone find it.

Intel has no plans to release WDDM drivers for reasons that are either technical or marketing related.

I feel that it should be possible to hack the 945's drivers and modify them to work with the 915 to have acceptable aero performance.

I don't have the coding experience, but I'm sure someone out there with a 915 does and will take on the call.
