Vista - HP NC8000 wlan not working in vista

Hi

I have 2 HP NC8000 laptops and in one of them is XP Media Center 2005 and in
the other Vista Ultimate. In XP the wlan thingie works great but in vista i
can't get it to work. I've searched for driver on hp's site without success.
Can anyone help? It would be nice

Determine the name (brand) of the "wlan thingie" and try finding the driver
on their website. Also, download and install all the updates available on
the Microsoft website. Sometimes you can get a driver doing that. If all
else fails, use google to search the Internet for a driver for your
particular NIC card.

Does HP have Vista drivers for your model? Has HP committed to Vista
support for your model? If not your task is difficult to impossible.
