fresh install of vista home premium - all remote control buttons work perfect
but only normal keyboard keys work on keyboard - not start, guide, record,
etc etc - had oem infrared & remote - ordered & connected new Microsoft - no
change - tried different usb ports - uninstalled & reinstalled - no specific
drivers that i can find - all updates current - figure i have to be missing
something simple

buttons?

Mine has a "Buttons" tab.

I have no knowledge about your specific keyboard, but I found the following
exchange on the Internet using google. Take a look at the series of
comments, which involve problems that appear similar to yours, to see whether
there is anything there that is useful to you:

The poster near the bottom said that his problem was resolved by installing
some drivers that someone else recommended.
