Vista - CD rom not detected

I install Windows Vista Home Premium and after instalation in device manager
appears:"Windows cannot initialize the device
driver for this hardware. (Code 39)" for my Sony dvd rw aw-g170 ata
device.Please help me!!!! Thank You.

The following link may provide a solution. Follow the instructions on the
following Microsoft article to remove upper and lower filters:

Sometimes this solution works, but who knows until you try it. Some urner
programs, such as Nero and/or iTunes/iPod have been known to cause the
problem you're having. Note in the Microsoft article that you may need to
reinstall a burner program, if that's what's causing the problem. Post back
on the results.
