Vista - Lexmark / Vista conflict

Problem - I'm unable to bring my printer online & print.. I have a LEXMARK
X6170 and I just finished installing there lastest VISTA driver. Installation
was 100% successful. I've made the Printer my primary BUT I now have a
problem - I can't get it to print ? I have no idea why. Everything appears
to be in order but when I try to get the freaking thing to print it won't. It
does nothing. Everything is plugged in. All responses from LEXMARK App appear
(Voice, window on bottom right of screen) but it still won't work. I've done
everything that I can thing of - I've right clicked, properties, looked at
all the bars above the the Printer and I still can't bring online. Is there a
Vista flag that I need to set in order to use. I've never had this problem
before and I'm sitting for the last hour and a half lost.

First thing to try is a reboot. Then once started, if you still can't
print, turn the printer off and on again and make sure you hear the USB
'ding' sound.

Then post in the correct NG which is vista.print.fax.scan.
