Vista - Problems with USB ports

I have Intel motherboard DP965LT. The problem is with usb keys! If a plug it
in the usb port nothing happends! In Device manager it only shows unknow
device! I have downloaded the drivers from intel site but it didn't help. It
doesn't show any problems in the device manager. Just shows unknow device !
Can u please help me ? The problems is in Vista or in the motherboard ?

Front M/B ports are known to be problematical. If this is what you are using
for convenience, try a rear port.
