| | Built-in camera won't work I have an Asus Z96J notebook (it is "Verified By Intel" so there is no information whatsoever on asus.com) that has a Bison NB built-in camera (by Sertek). This notebook was upgraded for Windows XP to Vista Home Premium. Since that I cannot find the camera on system. It does appear on Device Manager, so it is *NOT* a matter of installation - I tried to reinstall it and the results are the same... Problem is that there is no way to use the camera, since applications do not recognize it. Examples: Live Messenger, Macromedia (Adobe) Flash (I've developed a small app that uses the user's camera as an I/O feedback), even the system (opening Computer from Start menu should show it...). I am now clueless about this, as I have tried everything I know - considering that I've been using Vista only for a couple of months. Any thoughts? I appreciate any help. Thanks! |
