| | No Audio Output Device Installed "Please Help!!!" i recently updated windows to find that i get this error msg about me not having an audio output device, i thought if i did i system restore that i might have been able to resolve the problem, but that was a no go. I checked the device manager if it was my sound card, but it tells me that the card is working properly. Now I'm at a dead end and have absolutely no idea why it is like this. I'd like to note that i am using a Gateway MT3422 Notebook with on board speakers and a SigmaTel High Definition Audio CODEC, which i tried updating but had no luck with. Any help at all would be extremely appreciated, thank you. |

Once to remove the old driver, and twice to install the new one. Other times, a simple restart is required to finish the installation. Hope this helps, Shawn |
