Infrared MA-620 - does Vista have a generic driver?

Is there a driver I can use to get my MA-620 Adaptor to work in Vista? I've
had no luck. The main problem is that my scuba dive computer requires an
infared connection (they supplied the MA-620) to download all its data after
a dive. I also used it on XP for the Nokia, but that was for convenience, as
it can also work on bluetooth, but the Aladin Tec 2G needs infrared.
It's surprising that Vista doesn't have a generic driver that would be
suitable.
Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks.

You can download a working driver from 'DriverGuide.com (printer
drivers, cdrom drivers, modem drivers, sound drivers, mouse drivers,
monitor drivers, etc.) - DriverGuide.com' (http://www.driverguide.com)
(I am not associated with them in any way).

Even though their driver says "Windows XP" it managed to work on my
computer (Vista Home). I am using the Edisonsoft IRDA-USB
transmitter/receiver for uploading pictures from my cellular to my
computer.

Hope this helps.
